Exchange & Return Policy

At SIITARA, we value your satisfaction and want to ensure you’re happy with every purchase. If for any reason you’re not completely satisfied, we offer flexible return and exchange options to make your shopping experience easy and stress-free.


1. Return Policy

Eligibility for Returns
You can return items within 7 days of receiving your order if:

  • The saree is unworn, unwashed, and in its original condition.
  • All tags, packaging, and accessories are intact.
  • The saree has not been altered, customized, or tailored to specific measurements.

Non-Returnable Items
Please note, the following items are not eligible for return:

  • Customized sarees: This includes sarees that have been tailored, had blouse stitching, or other modifications made upon request.
  • Final sale items: Sarees marked as clearance or final sale at the time of purchase cannot be returned.
  • Damaged due to customer handling: Sarees showing signs of wear, damage, or alteration cannot be returned.

How to Return
To initiate a return, follow these steps:

  1. Email our customer support at [siitara.helpdesk@gmail.com] within 7 days of receiving your saree.
  2. Include your order number, the reason for the return, and if possible, attach photos.
  3. Our team will provide you with a return label and instructions on how to proceed.
  4. Ship the item back using the return label.

Once the saree is received and inspected, you will be notified about your refund approval. The refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5-7 business days.

Return Shipping Fees

  • Domestic orders: Return shipping is free within India(order value above 1500).
  • International orders: Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the product is faulty or damaged upon arrival.

2. Exchange Policy

We understand that you may want a different size, color, or style. We offer exchanges for eligible items, provided they meet the same criteria as returns (unworn, unwashed, and in original condition).

Exchange Process

  1. Contact us at [siitara.helpdesk@gmail.com] within 14 days of receiving your order.
  2. Let us know which item you’d like to exchange and what you’d like in return (style, size, color).
  3. Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will process the exchange and ship the new item.
  4. If there is a price difference between the exchanged items, we will notify you of any additional payment or refunds required.

Exchange Shipping Costs

  • Within India: Free shipping for both the return and the new item.
  • International orders: Customers are responsible for return shipping, but SIITARA will cover the shipping cost of sending out the replacement item.

3. Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a saree that is damaged, defective, or not as described, please contact us immediately.

  • You must notify us within 7 days of receiving the item.
  • Email us at [siitara.official@gmail.com] with your order number, photos of the damaged item, and a description of the issue.
  • We will arrange for a free return or exchange and cover all shipping costs associated with the issue.

4. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you about the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, the refund will be processed within 5-7 business days to your original payment method.

Please keep in mind:

  • Refunds may take additional time to reflect in your account depending on your bank or payment provider.
  • For international orders, return shipping fees (if applicable) will be deducted from the refund unless the item was damaged or defective.

*5. *Cash on Delivery (COD) Policy

For COD orders, an additional ₹100 fee is applicable, which must be paid in advance. Please note that this fee is non-refundable if the order is canceled or returned.

6. Can I Cancel My Return or Exchange?

If you received a SIITARA saree as a gift and would like to exchange or return it, please contact us with the order details or proof of purchase. We will work with you to ensure a smooth exchange or refund process.

Q1. How long do I have to return a saree?
You have 7 days from the date of receiving your order to request a return.

Q2. Can I return a saree that has been worn or used?
No, sarees must be in their original condition – unworn, unwashed, and with all original packaging and tags intact – to qualify for a return or exchange.

Q3. How long does the return/exchange process take?
The return and refund process takes approximately 5-7 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item. Exchanges are processed once the returned item passes inspection, and shipping times for the new item will depend on your location.

Q4. Can I return or exchange a custom-made saree?
Unfortunately, custom or personalized sarees cannot be returned or exchanged unless they are damaged or defective upon arrival.

Q5. Who covers the shipping cost for returns and exchanges?
For *domestic orders, SIITARA covers all shipping costs for returns and exchanges(order value above 1500). For *international orders, customers are responsible for return shipping fees unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
